In the 1950s and 1960s, many businesses or hotels printed matchboxes with their own store names and gave them out as gifts. But as time went by, unfortunately, the matchbox could only be imported from abroad. The original matchmaking company was officially removed from the traditional Taiwanese industry. Therefore, designers at TAIWANIZE took inspiration from the logo, and produced designs that resemble the retro matchbox logos.
