Every late October, Taipei comes alive from Ximending to Wugu with themed parties, special club nights and bar events almost every evening. The tricky part is that information is scattered across dozens of Instagram accounts, and times and ticket prices do not always line up.

When Is Taipei Pride Week 2026? A Full Week Overview

Taipei Pride Week 2026 runs from October 27 to November 1, centered around the 24th Taiwan LGBT+ Pride on Saturday, October 31. During the day, there are free public events including the Taipei Rainbow Festival and Pride marches; after dark, clubs, bars and large-scale Pride parties take over.

What Makes 2026 Different: Pride Meets Halloween

Taiwan LGBT+ Pride falls on October 31 in 2026 — Halloween. LGBTQ+ media outlet Sidetrack has also highlighted the overlap. Expect rainbow flags and costumes to mix across the city that night, giving the weekend a different feel from a typical Pride year.

Taipei Pride Week Daily Schedule: What to Do from Oct 27 to Nov 1

The amount of activity changes a lot from day to day. Weekdays are ideal for the Rainbow Festival and bars, October 30 and 31 are packed with major parties, and November 1 is better for winding down before the final events.

Oct 27–29 | Warm-Up Nights

During the day, head to the Red House for the Taipei Rainbow Festival, open from 15:00 to 21:00 from October 27–30. At night, Pride Week programming starts across the city:

BITCH Taipei runs a different “flight” theme each night from October 28 through November 2, making it an easy place to start Pride Week before the weekend crowds arrive.

Oct 30 (Fri) | One of the Busiest Nights

October 30 is one of the busiest nights for Pride parties. Taiwan Trans March begins at 18:30 at 228 Peace Memorial Park and sets off at 19:30. Once the march finishes, the timing works well for heading straight into the night’s parties.

Bars around Ximending also stay open later than usual, with places such as Hide 2 High and PawBar running into the early morning.

Oct 31 (Sat) | Pride Day’s Main Night

October 31 is Taiwan LGBT+ Pride during the day and the biggest party night of the week after dark. The parade is expected to wrap up around 18:45. A practical plan is to eat, return to your hotel to change, then head back out.

The Taipei Rainbow Festival is open from 13:00 to 21:00 that day. After the parade, you can take the Blue Line to Ximen Station and still catch the evening program at the Red House.

Nov 1 (Sun) | Closing Day

November 1 is split between afternoon and late-night events. X-Formosa WOOF starts at 16:00 with a more relaxed tea-dance atmosphere; PINK begins at 23:00 as the closing late-night party.

• 16:00–21:00: X-Formosa WOOF — green or camouflage dress code.
• 13:00–21:00: Final day of the Taipei Rainbow Festival, with all 11 international brands on site.
• 23:00–04:00: X-Formosa PINK — pink dress code.

If you have already been partying for three nights, Sunday afternoon may be the right time for a nap before deciding whether you really need one final party.

Ticket prices vary widely, from free events to major parties costing more than NT$3,000 for a single night. Large dance parties usually offer advance and door pricing, and door tickets can cost several hundred NT dollars more. Large-Scale Dance Parties

CandyLand has multiple door-price tiers, while OCCUPRIDE also offers two-day passes along with programming such as Silent Disco and drag performances.

Themed Parties

How to Do X-Formosa: 4 Parties, Themes & Transportation

X-Formosa is the largest party series during Taipei Pride Week 2026. It runs from October 30 to November 1 at the New Taipei City Exhibition Hall in Wugu, with four events across three days. Each party has its own dress color, and entry is 18+.

Wugu is outside central Taipei, so plan your return transportation in advance.

Is the 3-Night Pass Worth It?

X-Formosa three-night passes range from NT$4,800 to NT$7,800. Buying BLACK, WHITE and PINK separately can add up to roughly NT$7,300–8,100 depending on the ticket tier. If you know you will attend all three nights, the pass can save money, especially at early-bird pricing. If you only want one night, WHITE EDEN on October 31 gives you the full Pride-night atmosphere.

How to Get Back to Taipei

X-Formosa provides shuttle buses back to Ximending, with departures beginning around 01:00. A shuttle voucher is required. Since the main parties end around 04:00, the MRT will already be closed; without a shuttle ticket, plan on taking a taxi or sharing a ride with friends.

Pride Meets Halloween: Which Oct 31 Party Should You Choose?

RESURRECTED HALLOWEEN

Taiwan LGBT+ Pride and Halloween fall on the same day in 2026. The choice is basically between two very different nights: WHITE EDEN for a large-scale electronic music experience, or RESURRECTED HALLOWEEN for costumes, drag and a full Halloween atmosphere.

RESURRECTED HALLOWEEN returns for its 17th edition in 2026 with the theme THE FINAL NIGHTMARE. The event runs from 20:30 to 05:00 in Xinyi District and includes a drag costume competition. Online tickets are around NT$699–999, making it one of the more affordable large themed events of Pride Week.

White Party or Halloween Costume?

Want a little of both? A white Halloween look — an angel, ghost or another monochrome costume — can work surprisingly well at WHITE EDEN.

Don’t Want to Buy a Ticket? Red House Bars & Taipei Rainbow Festival

The easiest free place to start Taipei Pride Week is the Red House in Ximending. During the day, visit the Taipei Rainbow Festival at the North Plaza. At night, walk behind the Red House to the outdoor LGBTQ+ bar area along Lane 10, Chengdu Road. Most bars here do not charge an entrance fee; order a drink and stay as long as you like.

We know this area especially well because TAIWANIZE has a store inside the Red House. During Pride Week, the outdoor bars start filling up from late afternoon, and on parade night it is completely normal to see people standing outside with drinks for hours.

casa, K house, kiss bae, G Paradise and mudan are also located around the same lane, with many staying open until around 01:00 or 02:00.

Taipei Rainbow Festival

The Taipei Rainbow Festival, organized by TAIWANIZE, returns for its ninth edition in 2026 under the theme “Rainbow Sustainability.” It runs from 15:00 to 21:00 on October 27–30 and from 13:00 to 21:00 on October 31–November 1 at the Red House North Plaza and the plaza outside Ximen MRT Exit 1.

This year, 11 international brands are taking part, including partners from Japan and South Korea. The full international market opens on October 31 and November 1, with stage performances and brand booths throughout the event. Admission is free.

Taipei Pride Week Clubs & Bars: Pick by Your Style

During Pride Week, many LGBTQ+ clubs and bars in Taipei extend their opening hours or launch special themed nights. Instead of following the biggest crowd, choose the places that actually fit the kind of night you want.

Bears

Bear-focused travelers have plenty to choose from. Utopia hosts bear parties on October 30 and 31, PawBar runs late into the morning, and BITCH Taipei has its BEAR FLIGHT night on November 1. Add X-Formosa WOOF and you can build an entire Pride Week around bear nightlife.

Lesbian Nightlife

For lesbian and queer women, TABOO and WONDER are two of the main names to know. TABOO is in Zhongshan District, while WONDER in Songshan has a more relaxed atmosphere that works well for drinks and conversation.

Drag & Karaoke

If you prefer drag performances and singing over nonstop electronic music, Ximending has several options. Wink1 hosts Pride-themed nights, Hide 2 High is known for drag performances, and Match Taipei combines drag entertainment with karaoke.

K-pop & Pop Clubs

COSMA runs multiple Pride Week nights with K-pop and techno, while HypE focuses more heavily on K-pop and mainstream pop. G-STAR remains one of Taipei’s best-known LGBTQ+ clubs for pop music, dancing and stage performances.

Never Been to G-STAR? A Classic Taipei Gay Nightlife Stop

If you want one club that gives first-time visitors an easy introduction to Taipei gay nightlife, G-STAR is one of the names you will hear most often.

Located on Longjiang Road in Zhongshan District, G-STAR has been around for years and is known for pop music, K-pop, dance performances and a lively dance floor. The club has two levels, with different areas for dancing, drinking and taking a break. Friday and Saturday nights usually get noticeably busier as the night goes on.

If you already listen to K-pop or international pop, G-STAR is relatively easy to get into. You do not need to understand underground techno, dress for a circuit party or be an expert dancer. Order a drink, watch the stage and settle into the atmosphere at your own pace.

First Gay Club? G-STAR Is an Easy Place to Start

It is normal to feel slightly nervous the first time you walk into an LGBTQ+ club: What should you wear? Is it strange to go alone? Do you need to know how to dance?

Not really.

G-STAR attracts a younger crowd, including gay men, women and other LGBTQ+ guests. Most people are simply there to drink, dance, watch performances and spend time with friends, so the social rules are easy to understand even if this is your first gay club.

If you love K-pop, it becomes even easier to enjoy. Familiar songs and choreography often get the crowd moving together, with themed events, dancers and stage performances appearing throughout the year.

And if you do not dance? Standing by the side with a drink and watching the dance floor is still part of the Taipei nightlife experience.

A Good Stop for International Visitors

If you are flying in from Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Europe or North America for Taiwan LGBT+ Pride and want to see what everyday gay nightlife in Taipei actually feels like, G-STAR is worth adding to your itinerary.

It is very different from X-Formosa. X-Formosa feels like a major international event with big DJs, lighting, production and thousands of partygoers. G-STAR feels much closer to a normal Taipei weekend night out, with both Pride visitors and locals who come throughout the year.

For overseas visitors, that everyday local feel can be exactly what makes the night memorable.

During Pride Week, Go Later

G-STAR is generally open from Wednesday through Sunday, with late-night hours running until around 05:00. Pride Week events may have different opening times, admission prices and programming, so check @gstartaipei before heading out.

For a first visit, we would not rush there as soon as the doors open. Start with drinks or food around the Red House, then head to G-STAR closer to midnight, when the dance floor is usually livelier.

Pride Week During the Day: Tour Bus, Picnics & a Gay Cruise

Taipei Pride Week is not only about nightlife. There is also a Pride sightseeing bus, outdoor events, and a gay party cruise departing from Keelung on November 1. These are good options if you do not want to stay out until sunrise every night or if you are showing overseas friends another side of queer Taipei.

These activities often require advance booking and have smaller capacities, so reserve early if something interests you.

Rainbow Sightseeing Bus

Color Taipei and drag collective TWeen collaborate on a Pride sightseeing bus running at selected times from October 28 to November 1. Pre-Pride Warm-Up Events

• Oct 17: G Taiwan outdoor party, 17:00–22:00 at Yuanshan Scenic Park.
• Oct 24: Love You 99 Tipsy Picnic Party, 14:00–18:00 at Taipei Expo Park.

COSMIC CRUISE

COSMIC CRUISE is a three-day, two-night cruise exclusively for gay men. It departs from Keelung at noon on November 1 and returns on the afternoon of November 3. Expect pools and sunshine during the day, with DJs, drag queens and gogo performers at night. 3 Taipei Pride Party Routes

Taipei Pride events are spread across Ximending, the East District, Songshan and Wugu. Without a plan, it is easy to spend half the night in taxis. These three routes are organized by location and party style, so you can follow them as-is or mix and match.

Route 1: Ximending (All on Foot)

Best for first-time visitors, budget travelers and anyone staying in Ximending.

1. Early evening: Visit the Taipei Rainbow Festival at the Red House.
2. Night: Have drinks around the outdoor bar area on Chengdu Road Lane 10.
3. Late night: Walk to OCCUPRIDE at Riverside Live House, or catch drag at Wink1 / Hide 2 High.

Most of this route is within about a 10-minute walk, which also makes getting back to your hotel much easier.

Route 2: East District (MRT + Short Rides)

Best for pop, K-pop and karaoke fans.

1. Start with karaoke at Match Taipei.
2. Continue to HypE for K-pop.
3. Take a short ride to Red Space for CandyLand and stay until around 05:00.

Route 3: Bear Route (Nov 1 Only)

Best for bears and anyone who prefers a slightly more relaxed pace.

1. Afternoon: X-Formosa WOOF in Wugu.
2. Evening: PawBar or BITCH in Ximending.

First Pride Party? 5 Safety Tips

If this is your first Taipei Pride party, the basics are simple: bring identification, watch your drink, respect consent, plan your way home, and carry some cash. Major parties are 18+, and you may be asked to show ID at the door.

1. Bring ID: Major parties are 18+. International visitors should bring a passport.
2. Keep your drink with you: Do not leave it unattended, and be careful with drinks from strangers.
3. Respect boundaries: Ask before touching someone or taking a photo together. If the answer is no, stop.
4. Plan the trip home: Many parties end after the MRT has closed. Arrange a shuttle, taxi or shared ride in advance.
5. Carry some cash: Certain venues and events may be cash-only.
