Liangpin's retro logo's design is inspired by the round cake tea. The round Cake tea is a type of tea product coming from pressing the tea into a round shape with a beautiful appearance resembling a full moon. The outer packaging of the round cake tea is often printed with the trademark of each store's business name. Every seven pieces of cake tea are packed into a tube called "Qizi cake tea." Why only seven cakes? During the Tang Dynasty(618-907) in ancient China, to facilitate the calculation of the transaction's weight, a tube of seven cakes was just about 2.5 kg. Ethnic minorities from the Yunnan province of China often used it as gifts for the marriage of their children and gifts for the holidays.
